Pride and Prejudice 200 & Jane Austen Regency Week

Join the celebrations right here in Hampshire

jane-austen2013 marked 200 years since Jane Austen’s classic Pride and Prejudice was published. This website documents celebrations all over the world, including lots of special events at the Jane Austen House Museum here in Hampshire where Jane wrote some of her best loved works.

The Jane Austen House Museum is just a short walk from St Mary’s Hall, and is where the writer spent the last eight years of her life. Today the house is a museum celebrating the life and work of Jane Austen and is well worth a visit at any time, but especially during Alton and Chawton's annual Regency Week in June.
